ParentSquare is our new parent communication tool - information for parents

We hope you are enjoying using ParentSquare as our new parent communication platform.

You receive primarily text messages and emails; phone calls are used only for attendance or urgent information.You don’t have to download the ParentSquare app, but if you do, you can also receive messages through the app.

Data, meaning your contact email address and cell phone number for texts, is the heart of the system: the right data, entered correctly, in the right places. Our student database ( feeds contact information to ParentSquare, which allows us to contact you.

If your ParentSquare communication isn’t reaching you yet, that indicates a data issue that we want to identify and fix.

If you aren’t receiving any ParentSquare messages at all from your child’s school, please contact your school office and ask to review your contact information in Aeries with a staff member.

If you use the ParentSquare app and have more than one child in NVUSD, you should be able to see all of your students in your account. If you can’t, please contact to ensure that your contact information is consistent across each of the schools.
